FAQs

  • WHERE ARE THE VENUES?

En Masse takes place over 5 days at a number of different venues across Bristol. This year our partner venues are: The Cube, Loco Klub, The Island, Strange Brew and Greenworks.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR ENTRY?

Your valid Headfirst ticket for the night, ID to match the name on your ticket, and a good attitude. If your mate did the group a favour and bought all the tickets please make sure to enter together or have a copy/photo of their ID with you.

    WHO IS PLAYING WHERE?

Though we are very proud to be running the festival over many days, we’re aware that there’s a lot to take in. The full line up has been announced and our ticket page details who's playing at each event.

    WHO CAN ATTEND EN MASSE?

En Masse events are open to everyone. However some venues have age restrictions, for more information about this please contact us or our partner venues.

    WHAT ARE THE COVID RULES?

There are currently no Covid-19 related entry requirements in place at any of our partner venues.

  • HOW DO THE TICKETS WORK THIS YEAR?

This year we are continuing to offer a Festival Pass.

The Festival Pass will grant entry to En Masse events on Thursday 17th , Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November. It does not grant access to our opening night on the 16th November.

We are also selling individual tickets for all events, in case you can’t make it to them all.

YOUR FRIEND WANTS A TICKET, BUT WE’RE SOLD OUT!

If you would like to buy a ticket for a sold out En Masse event you will need to join the waiting list and resale queue on Headfirst. You will be notified through Headfirst of any available tickets. We strongly encourage you not to buy tickets from other sellers – they are likely to be scammers.

HOW ARE TICKET PRICES CALCULATED THIS YEAR?

For both the Festival Passes and single event tickets, we consulted partner venues, other promoters, Headfirst staff and past En Masse attendees when developing ticket prices to ensure they were reflective of the market and affordability.

The clubbing and festival industry is especially financially precarious at the moment. The cost of living crisis and inflation has an impact on all participants within this industry and the entire supply chain. We feel our ticket prices are reflective of this whilst still being accessible to a large demographic of folk.

This year we are adding a select number of financially accessible tickets. Please be discerning when purchasing these. If these tickets are sold and you require one, please contact us.

  • ARE EN MASSE’S VENUES ACCSESSIBLE?

If you feel comfortable to do so, please contact us to discuss specific accessibility requirements and/or venue specific questions. Accessibility can mean different things and we want to be as supportive as possible to ensure our dancers can experience the festival. We are still learning, if you feel we haven’t got it right, please let us know – we want to do better.

HOW WILL EN MASSE ENCOURAGE INCLUSIVITY AND SAFETY?

Your safety and comfort is the first and most important thing to us. We reserve the right to remove attendees that behave in a harmful or inappropriate manner, make others feel unsafe, or impact others’ enjoyment of the events.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable in an En Masse event, we strongly encourage you to speak to venue staff, they are the first point of contact. They will in turn make us aware and together we will support you to the best of our ability.

Alternatively, there will always be a member of our team on the door who you can speak to if preferred.
